It all started with two handsome gents in a crowded lineup somewhere in Sydney in 2007. Initially, Tim and Henne had the idea of running some boats in the Maldives, trying to create once-in-a-lifetime experiences for people bold enough to trust the expertise and vision of two boardsport junkies turned tour operators.

After a few successful go's in the Maldives, the company quickly grew in size, heads, and dreams, adding snow trips as another element to disrupt the lifestyle travel market.

Fast forward, with a few logo tweaks and name changes (From Lineupexplorers to LUEX) under our belts, we are a small-ish team of travel and action sports fanatics zig-zagging oceans and slopes to provide you with 500+ of the world's most memorable trips while working tirelessly on

If you are traveling as a group and multiple people want to pay for the booking you can use our group payment feature! To set up a group payment and pay for the booking as group members follow these steps:

The customer who owns the booking (the group leader) has to pay the deposit first. Group payment cannot be set up until the deposit is paid.
Group leader can then log into LUEX account, open the booking and click on Group payment button - window will scroll to Group Payment section;
In the Group Payment section, group leader needs to click + ADD GROUP MEMBER and fill in First name, email address and suggested amount
- Repeat this step until all group members are added
Group leader needs to click Send invitation. This sends the email to each group member with a link to the booking and suggested amount that a group member should pay;
Group members have to open the email, click the button PAY NOW and log in or create user account
Group members then will see this booking in their account
Group members can then proceed through the checkout and choose the amount they want to pay
- NOTE: Group leader suggests the amount and the currency, but this is just a suggestion. Group member can pay an installment of any amount in any currency. We recommend to group leader to calculate how much each of the members have to pay in the target currency and put that value as a suggested amount.
Once group members have paid, the group leader and the group members will receive payment confirmations;
Group leader will be able to see how much each of the group members have paid in the Payment history section of the booking, in LUEX account.

Unfortunately almost none of our partners are able to provide real time availability. Therefore we are not showing any availability information on our website. Please contact us and provide your travel dates or the time window which you are fully flexible within. We will suggest you the best available options then.

Yes, you can cancel any time. But depending on the time you cancel a cancellation fee may apply. Usually 100% for cancellations within 2 months before trip start date. And usually 20% for cancellations more than 2 months before trip start date. But that depends on the actual terms of the package you book with us. Please check the package description and terms or just contact us.

The two bookings I made was for surfing Maldives. Its not easy to find out how the waves are in the Maldives and which resort is best for your needs and have the best swells at certain times. Martin and his team have visit all the places they recommend many times, so they definitely know how it is on site and what to look for. This makes a huge different to many other agency's out there who just recommend stuff on average ratings or best commission fee.

I have booked for the 2nd time with LUEX and I can 100% recommend these guys. They are just nice, they have visit all the places they recommend by themselves and they just take care of your whole trip!
The two bookings I made was for surfing Maldives. Its not easy to find out how the waves are in the Maldives and which resort is best for your needs and have the best swells at certain times. Martin and his team have visit all the places they recommend many times, so they definitely know how it is on site and what to look for. This makes a huge different to many other agency's out there who just recommend stuff on average ratings or best commission fee.
